Historic Homosassa is about 80 miles north of Tampa and 100 miles west of Orlando on the west coast of Florida. The area is called the Nature Coast for it's unspoiled beauty. We offer trailer rentals and well as RV sites. There are also boat slips with or without trailer or site rentals. The pub is open seven days and week and there are lots of activities every week. There is a pool table, shuffleboard and other games of amusement. It is located directly on a canal that leads out to the Homosassa River. By water, the headsprings are approximately one mile up river and the Gulf of Mexico is about seven miles down river. There are pontoon boat rentals available on site to help you enjoy manatee and dolphin watching, fishing and sightseeing. The Florida State Wildlife Park, just a mile up the road, features indigenous birds and animals in a beautiful natural setting. The Homosassa River has been designated an Outstanding Florida Waterway and is ideal for Kayaking and Canoeing. Yellow Jacket RV Resort is the only RV-Resort on the Suwannee River with RV-sites right on the river. Heated pool/spa year round. Cottages, tent sites and boatramp on site. Resort and Boat Launch Our RV Resort is nestled in a
sheltered cove on beautiful Lake Rousseau the Bass fishing capital of the
world. This man made 3,657 acre lake is feed by the Withlacoochee and
Rainbow River. Our location makes it a fisherman’s paradise. Catch bass,
crappie, stump knockers, perch and catfish right from our dock. If you
prefer salt water fishing the Gulf of Mexico is only a few minutes away.
So bring your RV, fishing gear, canoe, kayak or boat and enjoy all the
amenities the Nature Coast and our RV Resort at Emerald Cove have to
offer. The RV Resort has gone
through a huge change with large lots for your RV with plenty of shade in
the summer and the warmth of Florida in the winter. We are in the process
of having 50, 30 and 20 amp hook-up service at every site. Call us for
seasonal rates. Some of the amenities we
have are an onsite store with RV supplies, parts, ice and many other items
you may need. If you’re hungry just walk down to state of the art food
truck that serves delicious fresh cuisine seven days a week or visit one
of the local restaurants in the area. If you’re thirsty you can head down
to the Tuckahoe Tavern and get a frosty cold beverage, play pool, watch TV
inside or out, video bowling or listen to music while you enjoy the
waterfront view of nature at its best.

Nature's Resort is just 90 minutes North of Tampa and St. Petersburg
directly off of U.S. HWY 19. Nature's Resorts secluded 97 acres scenic
resort is a camper’s dream. We are on the Halls River, which allows direct
access to The Gulf of Mexico.
